Being from Wakefield this is one of our best "tourist attractions" and is well worth a visit if your in Yorkshire, you like art/sculpture, enjoy walking and like lots of fresh air....While looking around the internet I came across this video, which shows the park quite extensively, a few odd things, but overall a pretty good video, although fairly long.

The regeneration of Wakefield's historic Waterfront is a key priority for Wakefield Council. Advanced proposals for its redevelopment will transform this southern gateway to the City by adding a new cultural dimension and revitalising the historic waterfront through provision of high quality living, office and riverside leisure accommodation and activities. The most prominent part of the site, facing the city centre, will be occupied by The Hepworth Wakefield complemented by the £100m commercial project by developers CTP St James including an imaginative mix of high quality office, residential and leisure buildings covering the remaining 10 acres.
